Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 Holds August Club Monthly Meeting, Team Visit & Strategic Planning Session 

On August 1, 2026, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 successfully conducted its August Club Monthly Meeting, Team Visit & Strategic Planning (StratPlan) at Conti's, Vista Land Shaw Boulevard. The meeting was led by Impact Creating President (ICP) Leslie Tan Rivera and was highlighted by the presence of District Governor Bing Carrion, whose leadership and guidance inspired the club to continue creating meaningful and sustainable impact throughout the Rotary year.

The meeting was also honored by the attendance of Senior Deputy Governor (SDG) Eric Tayag of the RC Manila 101 and Assistant Governor (AG) Beth Capapas of the RC-UDM, demonstrating the spirit of collaboration and support within Rotary District 3810.

The program commenced with the Call to Order, followed by the Invocation, the Four-Way Test and Rotary Pledge, and the Introduction of Guests and Visiting Rotarians. Members were then introduced to the club's officers and warmly welcomed new members, reinforcing the club's commitment to membership growth and engagement. Plans for the upcoming Induction Ceremony and Fellowship Night were likewise discussed.

During the strategic planning session, members reviewed the club's key service initiatives, including the Flagship Project: FLOW, the launch of Project REFRESH, a recap of recent accomplishments, and the alignment of upcoming activities with the District Governor's 12-Point Challenge.

The meeting also focused on fundraising and partnership opportunities, featuring discussions on the Bongga Ka Day Fundraising Drive, a collaborative Spider-Man Block Screening with Rotaract, and preparations for the PolioPlus fundraising event, "End Polio Under the Savannah Moon."

The gathering concluded with an open forum, allowing members to exchange ideas, strengthen fellowship, and reaffirm their commitment to Rotary's mission of Service Above Self. With the guidance of District Governor Bing Carrion and the unified leadership of ICP Leslie Tan Rivera, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 continues to build a vibrant, service-driven, and impactful Rotary year.
