On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Rotary International District 3810 hosted PAGSIGLA: A Health & Wellness Forum at the Philippine Heart Center Auditorium in Quezon City. Organized under the leadership of District Governor Maria Rosa "Bing" Carrion (RY 2026-2027), the initiative rallied Rotarians around the core message: "Grow Strong. Live Well. Serve More."
The four-hour program was dedicated to holistic health education, preventive wellness, and fellowship:
Mindfulness & Stress Management: Qigong breathing and movement techniques designed to quiet stress and restore vital energy.
Cellular Hydration: An in-depth discussion on why drinking water alone is insufficient and how to keep cells truly hydrated.
Early Cancer Detection: Insights into liquid biopsy technology and detecting cancer before symptoms manifest.
Longevity & Vitality: Exploring mechanisms that extend a vigorous, healthy life.
Following the expert presentations, attendees engaged in an interactive Pagsigla Zumba Experience, followed by reflection, recognition, raffle draws, and community-building fellowship.
Delegates from the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 in attendance included Impact Creating President (ICP) Leslie Rivera, Past President Glenn Leonardo, Past President Mari Delos Santos, Rotarian Geri Ignacio, and Rotarian Rebecca Angsanto.
Through participation in events like PAGSIGLA, RC Manila Supreme 198 reaffirms its commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles among members, ensuring they remain energized and equipped to drive lasting positive impact in the communities they serve.
