In response to the severe heavy rains that recently displaced households across Pandayan, Rizal, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 stepped up to extend relief and hope to the community.
Creating Lasting Impact Through Community Care and Skill Building
On August 29, 2026, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 successfully spearheaded a dual-impact community project aimed at promoting wellness and financial independence for the residents of Barangay Galilee. Held at the Barangay Galilee Multipurpose Covered Court, the event featured a comprehensive Free Medical Screening & Wellness drive alongside a hands-on Livelihood Program: Skills for the Future.
On September 8, 2026, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 successfully spearheaded a Seminar on Peace and Conflict Resolution from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Inarawan Covered Court. Organised in partnership with Supreme Elite Resources Inc. and the Inarawan Council headed by Capt. Ric Ric Bautista, the initiative provided crucial retraining and legal refreshers for local Barangay Chairmen and Tanods.
The Rotaract Club of Manila Supreme 198 successfully organized "Spider-Man: Brand New Day – A Movie Block Screening for a Cause," bringing together partners, supporters, and advocates for an evening of entertainment with a meaningful purpose.
The activity was conducted as part of the “Sama-Sama sa Pagtulong” Medical Mission, Free Legal Aid, Feeding & Livelihood Program, held on August 16, 2026, at the Barangay 174 Covered Court, Camarin, Caloocan City.
To foster healthier and more resilient communities, Rotary Club Manila Supreme 198 successfully conducted a essential medicine and medical equipment donation drive for the residents of Barangay Inarawan and Barangay San Jose. With a total project valuation of ₱46,000.00, this initiative directly provided local health centers with vital supplies to ensure accessible primary healthcare and continuous wellness support for vulnerable families.

emonstrating its commitment to advancing education and community development, Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198, under the leadership of Impact Creating President Leslie Rivera, joined forces with the Zonta Club of Makati-CBD, led by President Richard Santos. Representing the Rotary club during the culminating activity was Immediate Past President Geri Ignacio, together with Past President Lady Chris Leonardo and Club Secretary Glenn Leonardo.
Providing Safe and Sustainable Drinking Water for Every Student
As part of its continuing commitment to creating healthier learning environments, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198, in partnership with the Zonta Club of Makati-CBD, launched DrinkSafe Manila High—a sustainable initiative aimed at providing safe, clean, and accessible drinking water for the students of Manila High School.
This landmark project is a testament to Rotary's commitment to creating sustainable and life-changing opportunities for Filipino families by promoting safe, affordable, and dignified housing. Guided by the theme, "Building Christ-Centered Communities Through Faith, Housing, and Service," the development aims to provide 473 residential units within a modern, eco-friendly, and community-oriented high-rise designed to improve the quality of life of its future residents.
