In the wake of severe heavy rains, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198—under the leadership of ICP Leslie Rivera, DT Lita Lee, and CT Lourdes Galang, together with dedicated members Engr. Kester Blanco and Engr. Abbey Bandola—took swift action to support families severely affected in Pandayan, Rizal. Driven by our core commitment to Create Lasting Impact in our communities, our club mobilized vital resources to bring immediate relief and hope to those in need.

Through collective effort and total project expenses of PHP 60,038.50, we successfully reached 200 families, providing each household with a comprehensive care package.

Areas of Focus:

Community Economic Development: Emergency food distribution directly supports vulnerable families facing sudden hardship, protecting household stability and community resilience following a crisis.

Fighting Disease / Supporting Health (Nutrition Context): Providing immediate nutritional essentials (canned goods, rice, noodles) prevents acute food insecurity and health deterioration in displaced or flood-affected populations. 

Relief Package Contents (Per Family)

Each of the 200 relief packs was assembled to sustain a family with key household food supplies:

• Rice: High-grade Binhi A-15 rice allocations per household

• Canned Goods: Assorted canned sardines and canned meat products (beef and chicken)

• Beverages: Packaged coffee mix
